WHEN BOOKING YOUR STAY:

RESERVATIONS: Reservations for guests living in the U.S. and Canada will be held with a current credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). Reservations for guests living outside the U.S. and Canada require a 1-day or 25% deposit (whichever is greater) charged on a valid credit card.

MINIMUM STAY: Single-night stays are accepted except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and during three-day holiday weekends.

DISCOUNTS: Discounts do not apply during holiday periods. At other times one or more of the following nightly discounts may apply. Please request discounts at the time of booking.
"Last Minute" Reservation
  • Reservation made after 10am on the day of arrival for that night
  • Any available room for 1 night
  • Room assignment subject to change to accomodate longer stays
  • $134 double-occupancy or $124 single-occupancy

    Premium Periods
  • $10/night - AAA or AARP or active military, or
  • $20/night - Return Guests who have stayed with us 4 or more nights in the past 24 months

    Value Periods
  • $10/night - Single-occupancy
  • $20/night - Single-business traveler Sunday - Thursday nights
  • $10/night - Return Guests who have stayed with us 4 or more nights in the past 24 months

    Negotiable
  • "No Housekeeping"
  • "No Breakfast"
  • Extended Stay (5 or more nights)during Value Periods only
  • Government - Single-occupancy, breakfast billed separately

    Limitations:
  • Discounts do NOT apply when using gift cards or gift certificates issued by third-parties, or when reservations were made through travel agents or third-party reservation systems such as hotels.com or Expedia
  • The AAA, AARP and Returning Guest discounts are mutually exclusive
  • THIRD-PARTY GIFT CARDS OR CERTIFICATES: Gift cards or certificates issued by third-parties can only be used for single-room stays of 1 or 2 nights at full rate. Third-party gift cards or certificates cannot be used for multi-room and group bookings.

    SMOKING: The Inn is a non smoking establishment. We do however have a covered area outside to accommodate our smoking guests.

    CHILDREN: For safety reasons and for the comfort of our guests, only children age ten or older can be accommodated. Parents must supervise their children and keep them from running, jumping, and shouting while inside the house.

    EXTRA GUESTS: Only the Lavonna room is large enough for a fold-up foam futon bed for a third person. There is an extra charge of $20 per night plus $10 per breakfast.

    PETS: Regrettably, no pets are allowed.

    MOBILITY and MEDICAL ISSUES: We are NOT wheel chair accessible and stair climbing is required. There are 14 steps to our front porch from the sidewalk, 6 steps to our back door from our back driveway, and 19 steps between the first and second floors. The Rose room is the only guest room on the first floor. As a result we are NOT suitable for those with mobility or medical issues who have difficulty climbing stairs.

    IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION:

    CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION: All cancellations:
  • Require you to notify us in writing via e-mail (innkeeper@lionrose.com), fax (503.287.9247) or letter; and
  • Will be confirmed by us via e-mail within 24 hours. If you do not receive confirmation of your cancellation within 24 hours, please telephone us at 800.955.1647.

    CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations are subject to a $20 booking fee that will be charged to your credit card.
  • Cancellation of bookings for 1 or 2 rooms for 1 or 2 nights require at least 7 days notice prior to the date of arrival.
  • Cancellation of bookings for 3 or more nights or 3 or more rooms require 30 days advance notice.
  • Late cancellations will be eligible for a refund only if rooms can be rebooked.

    WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

    PARKING: Street parking is safe and generally available. There are no parking meters or time limits. Feel free to use our front or back driveway to drop of your luggage before you park.

    CHECK-IN: Rooms are available after 3:00 P.M. Early check-in to drop off bags and pick up keys can be arranged. We request all guests to telephone ahead on the day of arrival to confirm their specific check-in time. Feel free to use our front or back driveway to drop of your luggage before you park. Late check in - after 11 P.M. will result in a $20 service charge.

    PAYMENT: Full payment is due at time of check-in. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover cards. Your Traveler's Checks are also welcome.

    DURING YOUR STAY:

    BREAKFAST: A delicious full 2-course breakfast is served in our dining room from 8:30-9:30am Monday-Saturday, and from 9-10am on Sundays. The first course features fruit and pastry. The second course offers a meat-free egg dish and two side dishes. One of the side dishes is meat-free, the other is usually bacon, ham or sausage. We can also offer cereal, oatmeal, and plain eggs for those with simpler tastes. Coffee and tea is available in the Kitchen starting at 6:30am. With advance notice:
  • A full breakfast can be provided as early as 8am Monday-Saturday and 8:30am on Sundays.
  • A more limited breakfast can be provided as early as 7:30am Monday-Saturday and 8:00am on Sundays.
  • "Breakfast To Go" bags with pastry, fruit, "power bars" and juice are available for earlier departures.
  • Extra visitors may join you for breakfast for $10 per person.

    REFRESHMENTS AND AFTERNOON TEA: Light refreshments are provided in the afternoon and evening. Soft drinks, juice, and spring water are complimentary. We stock a wide variety of teas. Instant hot water and an electric water kettle is available for you to make a cup of tea. With prior notice, we are happy to prepare an afternoon tea for you with china tea pot, cups and saucers.

    BUSINESS TRAVELER AMENITIES: There is no extra charge for local or long distance calls within the United States. The house is equipped with high-speed wireless internet access. All rooms are equipped with phones and dial-out data-ports. There is a PC nook (off the Dining Room) with a PC connected to the Internet and a color printer/copier. Fax is also available upon request.

    WHEN YOU DEPART:

    CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. If desired, arrangements can be made to store your bags until the time of your departure.

    GRATUITIES: Gratuities are not required; however, if you are pleased with our service, our houskeeping and kitchen staff greatly appreciate your generosity. There are "tip" envelopes in each guest room if you are so inclined at the end of your stay.

    KEY REPLACMENET: There is a $20 charge if keys are not returned.

    LEFT ITEMS: Please check your room before you depart to make sure you take all your belongings. We are not responsible for items that you leave behind. If you forget something important and notify us, and we can find the item, we will have it sent to you for the cost of shipping plus a $10 service charge.
